There are thousands of Deaf in need of food, clothing, language, education, and the love of Jesus Christ. With so many used, abused, and tossed aside, these Deaf people need our help now more than ever.
Help children living in poverty stricken communities escape the cycle by providing them with food, medical care, clean water, clothing, language, Christian Education, and vocational training. Children sponsored through ICCD live in a community during the school year surrounded by loving adults who know them personally and provide wonderful Christian examples for them to emulate.

How do I sponsor a child with ICCD?
You can sponsor a child in two ways, namely:
- Monthly Sponsorship: Sponsor a child for $40 a month. Your donation goes directly towards your sponsored child’s education, healthcare, and much more.
- Gift Giving: Send a donation for a specific cause, such as the general Child Sponsorship fund or disaster relief.
How much does it cost to sponsor a child?
Sponsoring a child costs just $40 per month or $480 per year. Your sponsorship provides a Deaf child in need with food, clean water, medical care, clothing, language skills, Christian education, and vocational training.
Where can I sponsor a child?
We are currently in need of sponsorships for Deaf children in Uganda. While this is our greatest need at the moment, you can also support ICCD’s ministry in other developing countries where we are, including Mexico, Cuba, The Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, and India or just designate your donation as “Where Most Needed”
What will my sponsored child receive through ICCD?
Sponsored children receive food, medical care, clean water, clothing, language skills, Christian Education & Spiritual Discipleship, and vocational training.
Can I write to my sponsored child?
Not at this time. Staff at the schools are limited and do not have the resources to manage the individual correspondence program that would be necessary.
Can I sponsor multiple children?
Yes, you can sponsor as many children as you want! For every sponsorship, you’re helping a child escape poverty, malnutrition, and the possibility of a life without Jesus Christ.
How do I know my money is going to my sponsored child?
ICCD enables you to track your monetary contributions through our accounting software’s online portal. You can track how your money is used through our financial transparency reports. You will also receive regular updates and pictures of the child.
Can I donate instead of sponsoring a child?
Yes, you can donate to the general Child Sponsorship fund on a monthly, annual, or one-time basis. Every penny helps! Whether you donate $1 or thousands of dollars, you’re helping us sustain our efforts and make a difference in the lives of Deaf children around the world.
Can I stop sponsorship at any time?
Yes. We understand that life happens. If you need to reduce or stop recurring sponsorship donations, just reach out to a member of our staff.
